Hello and thanks for visiting! My name is Annie, and I currently dwell in the foothills of the Rockies with my children. I grew up in a nomadic artist family, and I have been working professionally as an artist since 2010 when my eldest son Alex was diagnosed with a rare nuero-genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome. I realized he would need full 24/7 medical care for the rest of both our lives, so I went back to my art roots and began to find creative ways to support us financially while holding to my authenticity as an artist and mythology nerd. He has become my most profound teacher and an amazing liminal space holder where art and mystery become easily accessible. Everything I've been able to accomplish here has been through him, and for that I am ever-grateful. I've dabbled in a variety of techniques and mediums over the years, but my favorites are textiles, fibers, illustration, watercolor, plants, and children's poetry. Folk methods are of particular interest to me. I have three children's books out now that center around the magic of animacy that I'm very excited to share with you, and a fourth soon to be released!
